Blood, sweat and adrenaline were the order of the day as hundreds of fans stormed Demencia Fest at Willie’s Sport Bar in Arecibo. The festival featured over twelve straight hours of music, drinks, barbecue and community at a venue filled to it’s capacity with fans, young and old, enjoying a great variety of local bands like A. Hellinside, Raza Sedentaria, Los Hell Gamblers, Devil’s Tail Flames, Tavú and many more. There was also a special presentation by the Westside Suspension Team, featuring a four-person human mobile, spinning for well over 15 minutes.
No event would be complete without the Cyanide Girls! Krystal and Alice joined the party modeling some amazing ink by Gambit’s Ink! (Stay tuned to check those new tattoos out in upcoming shoots at Cyanide Nation!)
In the end, it was an amazing event with absolutely NO fights or violent incidents. It was a very fun event to cover, even if I had TWO cameras strapped around my neck for twelve hours! I hope to see and participate in more of these types of events that show me that rock isn’t dead… It’s just laying low for it’s comeback!
